Amal Hijazi not officially banned from Kuwait

Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi recently filmed her latest music video clip for the song “Ya Ahla Ma Fe Al Ayam” (You’re What’s Best In the Days), directed by Randa Al Alam.

The New clip is from her latest album “Keef Al Qamar” (How’s The Moon), scheduled to be released at the end of the month.

According to the London daily Elaph, Amal was surprised to read in several Kuwaiti newspapers that she was banned from entering Kuwait for the past year and a half, yet the Lebanese singer never received any formal notification from Kuwaiti authorities.

Amal has not publicly commented on the matter. She read the article when she was in Kuwait last year to film an advertisement.

Amal said that she has great respect for the Kuwaiti people and hopes to meet them in person very soon.
